First and foremost - this review is not a reflection of the staff here. They are friendly and helpful and really are doing their best with what they've been given. The staff gets a solid 5 star review!

Based on this experience, we won't be staying at this level of cheap again. There are definitely good low cost hotels (think old Route 66) but we'll be much more discerning about where we stay in the future and will always default to paying a little more.

If you just need an inexpensive and no-frills place to crash in Roswell (pun intended), this will do the trick.

Very nice, for the money. Older motel, well kept, concerned management. Best part is the downstairs rooms have a front door that opens on a grassy courtyard with picnic tables, bbq gas grills, and cigarette butt receptacles. AND, a back door to park by. Super clean pool, great breakfast (like all choice hotels, but no waffles, and better eggs than usual). Very pet friendly.

There were some good attempts at making things better - like power strips mounted to the wall for lots of outlets, including USB... but mounting a power strip to the wall with a screw really isn't the caliber of hotel I'm looking for as an adult with some discretionary income... I know, I picked this hotel, but I've stayed at "budget hotels" that have been great; minimal amenities, but clean and well kept. This is not one of those hotels.

The "breakfast" spread was abysmal - the hot water for tea (multiple mornings) was lukewarm. The "eggs" were apparently the powdered variety and not well mixed / cooked. Coffee may have been multiple days old OR just really bad. Granted, we didn't pay enough to get breakfast, so this wasn't a huge deal for us personally, but if you're counting on this as part of your stay, understand what you're going to get.

The hotel however (which honestly is more important to me overall) is a disaster. It's outdated and has not been well cared for. The staff obviously does their best to keep the rooms and common areas clean, but you can only do so much with things like cracked and stained sinks, threadbare towels, leaking soap dispensers, bad grout and caulking, peeling wall paper, smoke stains coming through the paint, old dingy carpets, outdated (think cheap thrift store / college dive) furniture, etc.

I recommend this wonderful, safe, and Best layout of rooms. Extra clean rooms. Excellent Motel ito stay for visiting Roswell,NM. Price is incredible and staff very pleasant and very helpful. Pets friendly, overall 5 stars!!

The only thing I really think the staff could improve is spreading out where they put people when the hotel isn't full (which it wasn't based on the parking lot when we were there)... we ended up in a room with a shared door to the next room - our neighbor had the TV volume at a totally appropriate level and we could still hear every word / noise of the show. We did end up turning on the AC unit just for the white noise because it couldn't actually be trusted to cool the room (it had a big note about how the machine would quit if put below 68... so that was also a bit disappointing).

Terrific room! Excellent price. On the outskirts of town, but so are the other hotels. Staff are friendly and helpful. Metallica, at the front, desk was great.

Area seemed safe, road noise was minimal. Breakfast was decent. Wifi access was decent but got a bit slow during peak hours.

Good low-end hotel. Staff was friendly, beds were fine, rooms were clean.
