This place is crazy expensive. One of the most expensive truck stops I've ever been in. We went into the restaraunt, got a coke and a water. $9 for just a cheese omelet? I think not. We asked for our bill. $3 for a coke!!! The waitress was courteous. As far as the store goes, it's not any better. My Java Monster was close to $6 with tax and they are typically about $3. Anyhow, we decided to have dominos delivered instead, which I'm glad we did. I found a cockroach running around in front of the bathroom right next to the restaurant this morning. Yummy! Bathrooms are dark but at least half way clean. Plenty of truck parking. This place is highway robbery and these guys should be ashamed. This is the only truck stop around in the Roswell area and they know it. Quit price gouging our truck drivers!!!
Very good food at the restraunt, huge lot with plenty of truck parking, nice showers and friendly staff. They have beer and liquor. Only reason I gave them 4 stars is the the towels were rough and ragged.
My husband and I have never showered at a truck stop before, but we recently needed to while on a road trip. We stopped at Chisum Travel Center in Roswell. The lady informed us that two people cannot go in the shower room at the same time, so we said okay and I went first. After I finished in the shower I called my husband to come get the bag with his clothes and toiletries in it so that he could get his shower while I finished getting ready in a separate shower room. We had already paid for two shower rooms, but the lady at the desk would not even let him go down the hall with the shower rooms as long as I was in my shower room. This made the whole process take longer and it delayed our breakfast and our activities for the rest of the day. How junior high can you be? The shower rooms were clean and large with plenty of hot water. No complaints there. But that business of not even letting us be down that hall at the same time was beyond ridiculous.
Everything is at a rediculous price, the bathroom was disgusting, the resteraunt was waaaay over priced and had rude staff.... A good place for a tornado to visit.
Good place to spend the night for truckdrivers and campers. Restaurant food is not good. The people who work there are very nice. A TV room in the plaza.
