I just went for a routine check up and pap smear. Dr. Nowak was very rude and impatient. He made me feel uncomfortable. I paid 250 out of pocket up front because my insurance card had expired and my new insurance card was still in the mail. Dr. Nowak did not give me a check up or provide any service. He sat in the chair and explained to me how expensive the lab fees would be and how getting an ultrasound would cost too much. The whole effect was that he was eager to go to lunch because it was around 12pm. I had paid 250 dollars for this doctor to be very rude to me and give me a 10 minute lecture about how he couldn't do anything without an updated insurance.Worst healthcare experience ever. I will never go to this clinic again.
A couple of weeks later, he called me back right away to address what he knew to be a mild complication from delivery. He cleared it up for me and I was good as new.
Dr. Nowak was fantastic! Very informative, professional, and polite. I would definitely recommend him. His staff was wonderful as well :)
Jane McMillan is the overall/ by far the best. When everyone else (meaning the doctors) from Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas and to New Mexico, she didn't pass me along when she couldn't figure out what was wrong. Instead she kept running test on me until she found the problem. I highly recommend her. She is awesome!
During my pregnancy I saw all three of the providers. Dr. Nowak at first came of cold however he was not my primary provider dr. McMillan was. Dr McMillan was very kind and curtious an absolute joy. At the end of my pregnancy I began to see the new midwife Florida she was kind and knowledgeable. I had an emergency c section dr nowak was the on call doctor he did an absolutely amazing job. After dr.nowak was more informed about my particular situation he was much more friendly and caring. I think he gets a bad rap because he's a no nonsense kind of person. If you can stand being told how it is he's your doctor he has a ton of experience and is extremely knowledgeable!
I had a good experience with my pregnancy and delivery under the care of Dr. Nowak. He is very knowledgeable and explains topics well. My delivery was wonderful-good memories. It went smoothly. I recovered quickly due to him being a skilled surgeon.
