The salesperson was very knowledgeable and fast to help. Even offered to load our water softener and salt.
They have one of their huge orange ladders covering up entire section of the aisle , which happens to be the section I was needing to shop in. One of their associates sits there and watches me for about five minutes while I'm trying to peek through the ladder or squeeze between the ladder to see what's on the shelves. Then as I'm checking out she asks If I found everything, and I said well I really couldn't because that ladder was there and she says oh we could've moved that for you. That pretty much sums up my usual experiences with this Home Depot.
My visit to home depot was all in all good I had a nice gentleman walk with me helping me and my dad(a disabled veteran) find everything that was on our list however when we got to the register they wouldn't give my dad his discount for veterans. His drivers license clearly says Veteran on it! Every other store takes it I just don't understand that!
Most of the time I can find what I need with no problem, so I'm not 100% I've ever had bad customer service until now! I went in and bought a closet organizer and a couple of additives. I remebered i needed paint so i went and waited about 5 min nobody walked by or showed up to help me or another customer that was waiting also. I walked to the front and they were busy i notices a man with a HD apron on so i asked if he could call someone to the paint and looked anniyed but said yes ma'am. I went back and waited for another 10-15 min. Not once heard it over the intercom and nobody showed up. I just went and checked ouyt. When I got home and bldg everything I noticed one of my pieces was missing the hardware. I returned it and turns out some one had stolen all the hardware from the 4 or 5 rods that were there. I notified am employee he said ok t ha is and put them all back. I returned two days layer all of them are still there and still missing all the hardware. Not cool!!!
