This is great if you want to relax. No motorized boots and no hoopla, wonderful. The sandy beach area with the shaded area is wonderful for the kids too. The water is salty and great for the skin and almost promotes floating. A great place if you want to get away and enjoy peace and quiet.

This was the best education I could have hoped for. I came to NMMI in 1991 as a senior from public schools. I quickly found out that I was totally unprepared for the type of education that NMMI offered. The faculty at NMMI provided me with every opportunity and resource to catch up. I was able to go on to UNLV and graduate with a 3.5. NMMI is not for everybody. If you are self entitled or weak minded then you will have a hard time.
